Encasa Homes Silver Metallised Cotton Padded Ironing Mat is specially made for easy ironing use on Kitchen platform, Dining Table and Bed. 100% Pure Cotton fabric is Metallised with a thick layer of Aluminised coating to give full heat reflection back into the garment. It is then laminated with a 5mm (0.2") heat absorbent polyester Foam pad to give comfortable ironing experience. The thickness of the foam pad is adjusted to give a soft surface and also prevent burning of the table or bed surface. The silicone rubber mat attached to the right hand corner can bear high temperatures & allows you to put down your hot iron flat rather than vertical which considerably eases the movement. It completely eliminates the need of having an ironing board taking up your valuable space, so you can get rid of your existing board also. The Large Size of the mat 70 cm x 50cm ( 28" x 20" ) is perfect for ironing of large garments which are uncomfortable to do on a board. The Mat can be quickly folded or rolled for easy storage, and has a velcro strip to hold the fold (see pictures).
